Excess foam is caused by the introduction of soap and saponable fatty surfactants into the tank. A moderate rate of foam formation may be harmless.
The presence of a large number of small homogenous particles in the tank can stabilize the foam layer, mat with activated carbon to remove surface active substances, or filter to make the foam less stable, which are effective measures. Other measures should also be taken to minimize the amount of surfactant brought in. The introduction of organic matter can significantly reduce the plating speed. Although the chemical formulation is conducive to a high deposition rate, the thickness of the coating cannot meet the requirements after the organic matter is brought in, so activated carbon can be used to treat the bath.
