Production and processing skills of large galvanized wire

In the production process, some parts in order to meet high hardness and good wear-resisting performance, and the use of high quality steel or through strict heat treatment process, to achieve technical requirements. If the processing of common carbon steel can meet the strength requirements, considering the specific working conditions and the possibility and economy of process implementation, composite iron plating layer can be used for surface strengthening. The iron base composite coating has high hardness and good wear resistance, so it is difficult to process and can only be processed by grinding. It is more convenient if it is used in the surface strengthening of parts that do not need machining.

It is better to control the temperature of 30-50℃ for galvanizing iron wire. Because the chloride ion in the bath is very corrosive, quartz glass heater is generally used. Continuous production does not need heating, but cooling cooling. Cooling method, not only in the groove edge densely lined thin-walled plastic pipe, through the flow of tap water for cooling, also can use titanium pipe as temperature control device.

In the process of composite electroplating, it is necessary to stir the plating solution to obtain the composite coating in which the particles are dispersed in the matrix metal. Stirring methods include mechanical stirring, air stirring, ultrasonic stirring, bath cycle and so on. Use the wire that had plated zinc beforehand to pull out when making galvanized iron wire, won’t appear the phenomenon of bad mechanical properties. The toughness of the wire is 15 to 25 per cent higher than that of the drawn and galvanized wire, and in some cases slightly stronger than that of the polished wire.

The wire after the first plating, its strength limit is also higher than the first plating, plated zinc and then made of wire not only toughness and high strength. There is a lower figure in the strength limit of galvanized iron wire because of the quality of zinc, because the strength of zinc technology is several times smaller than the wire itself.
