The burning of a wire in oxygen

The wire factory says that the wire will burn violently in oxygen, giving off a lot of heat, sparks and black solid, and when the wire is rusty, the oxygen is not pure, the wire is too thick, the combustion phenomenon may not be obvious or observed. And the spark is mostly caused by the wire burning in oxygen, often because it contains some impurities in the reaction.

The wire can be thought of as iron encased in carbon, and when extinguished, the shallower layer of carbon can come into contact with oxygen, producing carbon dioxide gas that radiates the iron encased in it. Sodium and magnesium contain less combustible impurities, extinguish just light. The more carbon in the wire, the more likely it is to produce sparks. The iron coated carbon acts like an explosive in a charge bag, occasionally blasting the iron away.

the wire

Hot plating wire is made of high quality low carbon steel, after drawing molding, pickling rust removal, high temperature annealing, hot dip galvanizing, cooling and other process processing. The insulation layer of hard insulation products can be double-stranded galvanized iron wire with no. 16 ~ no. 18, and the spacing of binding should not be greater than 400mm. However, pipes or corresponding equipment with nominal diameter equal to or greater than 600mm should be reinforced with galvanized iron wire of No. 10 to No. 14 or packaging steel belt after bunching, and the spacing of reinforcement should be 500mm.

The insulation layer of semi-hard and soft insulation products shall be bound with packing steel tape, galvanized iron wire of no. 14 to no. 16 or adhesive tape with a width of 60mm according to pipe diameter and equipment size. The spacing of the binding, the semi-hard insulation products should not be greater than 300mm; For soft felt, pad should not be greater than 200mm.
